Himalayan balsam

During phase 1 habitats surveys and preliminary ecological appraisals we will endeavour to identify the presence of problematic species. If problematic plant species are known or expected on site then audits can be undertaken during the growing period (usually from April to end-September), during an audit we will aim to identify and map the extent of all invasive non-native plant species as designated in section 14, schedule 9, part 2 of The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (as amended).
