Newt season is fast approaching

January was a funny month, working around snow, flash floods, and of course lockdown pt.3, but it’s been our busiest yet with Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Daytime Bat Assessments conducted in Worcester, Malvern, Fernhill Heath, the Wyre Forest at Bewdley, and Portishead Bristol. I also received confirmation of my membership to the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).

Amphibians have been spotted making their way to breeding ponds up and down the country and as we approach the Great Crested Newt survey season now is an excellent time to start thinking about addressing your GCN survey needs and avoid unnecessary delays on your site. At ATW Ecology we are amphibian specialists with a long history of working with GCN in a variety of situations so please get in touch with us today to find out how we can help you.
